The forces of the Lugansk People’s Republic destroyed up to 50 Ukrainian fighters during a day, the LPR People’s Militia wrote on August 1 on its Telegram channel.
It is emphasized that during the day during the LPR forces’ offensive, the Ukrainian military suffered heavy losses.
“Up to 50 personnel were eliminated, four armored personnel carriers, six units of special automotive equipment were destroyed,” the message specifies.
On July 31, it was reported that LPR soldiers eliminated up to 40 Ukrainian fighters and destroyed five armored personnel carriers during the day. In addition, two fortified firing points of the enemy were destroyed.
Also on July 31, official representative of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic Ivan Filiponenko said that during the day experts of engineering units of the People’s Militia demined more than four hectares in the areas of Metelkino and Sirotino villages.
