LPR People's Militia representative tells about the enemy's losses in a day

The Ukrainian army lost about 67 people in a day as a result of an active offensive of the LPR People’s Militia (LPR PM) units, official representative of the LPR PM Ivan Filiponenko said. His statement was published on July 26 on the agency’s Telegram channel.

Military equipment of the enemy was also destroyed.

“Over the past 24 hours in the course of active offensive actions of the LPR People’s Militia units, the enemy suffered heavy losses in manpower and military equipment. Up to 67 personnel were killed; 5 armored personnel carriers, 3 units of military transport vehicle; 1 long-term firing point were destroyed,” the report reads.

The Ukrainian armed units fired five rockets from American M142 HIMARS rocket launchers on Alchevsk. Information about casualties and damage is now being specified.

“All strikes by Ukrainian artillery on civilian infrastructure are being carefully recorded and will be used to file lawsuits with international judicial organizations to hold Ukraine accountable,” the statement reads.

Filiponenko also clarified that more than 9 hectares of territory during the day were cleared by sappers from explosive objects left by “Ukrainian nationalists” in the areas of Lesnaya Dacha and Sirotino.

The LPR People’s Militia delivers humanitarian aid to residents of these areas together with public organizations.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. The goals of the special operation also include the protection of residents of Donbass.

On July 3, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the complete liberation of LPR territory.
