Kurginyan explains why Russian Armed Forces withdrew from Snake Island

The situation in Ukraine is changing every day, and every day the decisions necessary for the victory are made situationally, said political scientist and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in the program Radio-Electronic Warfare on Channel One on July 2.

Sergey Kurginyan explained that after the Russian servicemen withdrew their forces from Snake Island, some people began to ask why the island was taken in the first place.

The analyst outlined his view of this question, “The situation changes every week, every month. Other weapons are being brought in. Now Ukraine has opportunities that it didn’t have a hundred days ago.

Every day the situation changes, and every day situationally those decisions are made that are necessary in order, first of all, to win, and secondly, to have as few casualties as possible,” Sergey Kurginyan explained.

The analyst is convinced that in this case, it is very important to understand which victories are strategically important, “Let us separate the wheat from the chaff and try to understand where the strategic victories are. And then we will worry separately about mistakes. I’m not saying it shouldn’t be done.

If there comes a need to capture something, it will be neither the Snake [Island] or the sea, but Nikolaev and Odessa,” Sergey Kurginyan said. He also noted that this will probably be possible “after the Donetsk cauldron will be completely closed“.

On June 30, the Russian Armed Forces withdrew the garrison from Snake Island to demonstrate that there are no obstacles to the export of agricultural goods from Ukraine.
