Ukrainian army and nationalist battalions have shelled people in stores in Severodonetsk

10.06.2022, Severodonetsk.

Units of the Ukrainian army and the nationalist battalions looted stores and shelled civilians in stores in Severodonetsk. Resident of the city Yelena Chayka said this on June 10, RIA Novosti reported.

According to the woman, the nationalist battalions and Ukrainian army units were competing for Severodonetsk territory. “They didn’t put up with each other. And so it was all [shells] flying from one side to the other,” she said.

Ukrainian fighters broke into the stores and looted them, then offer locals to take what was left on the counters, and when hungry people went inside, a shell hit “the stores,” the woman said. “People were killed in the stores. And so almost all the supermarkets were destroyed by the shells,” Chayka said.

At the same time, she noted that after the liberation of the city, Russian troops, unlike Ukrainians, treated the locals humanely. “They help, bring food,” the woman said.
