10.06.2022, Lugansk.

The Ukrainian fighters at the Azot plant in Severodonetsk are trying to establish contacts for negotiations after being encircled, the ambassador of the Lugansk People’s Republic to the Russian Federation Rodion Miroshnik wrote on his Telegram channel on June 10.

The diplomat wrote that the remaining fighters of the Ukrainian armed units can no longer leave the Azot chemical compound because they have been cut off all escape routes.

“Representatives of the fighters are trying to establish contact with the allied troops and put forward some conditions. They are being told that no conditions will be accepted. Only the laying down of weapons and surrender. They were sent to think it over,” Miroshnik wrote.

The ambassador also noted that there may be an undetermined number of civilians on the territory of the plant in shelters. Some of these civilians have managed to send messages to their relatives that they are alive and still in the bomb shelters.
