The town administration left us at the mercy of our fate, a resident of Severodonetsk Tatyana Zhashkova said on May 29, according to the Lugansk Information Center (LIC).
Zhashkova complained that “the pension was not paid for three months.”
Aleksey, a resident of Severodonetsk, said that the situation in the town had been tense for three months, but the last two weeks were the worst.
He said that the town was waiting for liberation, “We were waiting for [you] on May 9, we wanted to celebrate it properly, and at last you came, thank God.”
The LPR People’s Militia launched an offensive in the direction of Lisichansk and Severodonetsk. Taking the control of these towns had been set as one of the military’s top priorities.
