Kurginyan explains what Russia opposes in Ukraine today

The challenge to Russia came not from Ukraine, which was a fraternal people, and part of its population remains fraternal. Russia was challenged by a global evil machine, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on May 9 at a Victory Day rally.

Kurginyan believes that the struggle against Nazism is not a thing of a remote past; it is Russia’s present, and now, as it happened during the Great Patriotic War, our country stands up against the global evil. And it is capable of prevailing in this confrontation with the global evil, the philosopher believes.

“On the very first day of the special operation it became clear that we can stand up to what has challenged us. And it was not Ukraine that challenged us, which was a fraternal people, and part of its population still remains fraternal, but we were challenged by a machine of global evil,” Kurginyan explained.

“This machine of global evil is effectively reviving Nazism,” the political scientist believes.

Kurginyan stressed that the West began to revive Nazism immediately after 1945, i.e. after the end of the Great Patriotic War. As early as in 1947, all the Nazi scum was gathered at congresses, where they said they declared a shift in their ideology to aim it against the Russians.

“This hound of the inferno was fed by no one else but the United States, the UK, and other countries, which gathered them together to train them again,” the philosopher indicated.

The political scientist pointed out that as early as in 1948 notorious Otto Skorzeny, “one of the meanest hounds of the Hitler’s regime,” said that he was ready to throw dozens of neo-Nazi divisions against the Soviet Union. According to Kurginyan, a new generation of neo-Nazis was brought up throughout the period after 1945, and the West was especially caring for Bandera and his supporters.

“They were especially caring through all those years for Bandera and his supporters ― they were cherished in the West, they were cultivated in the United States, in Canada, in England, and elsewhere,” the political scientist noted.

The supporters of the Bandera ideology planted “their wolfish hatred of everything Russian” into their followers, and this “terrible ideology” was enforced in Ukraine over the past 8 years, while all the Soviet and Russian values, that are historically close to Ukraine, were revoked, Kurginyan concluded.

“So, these values [Soviet and Russian] were revoked and destroyed, and replaced with Banderite values, which are worse than those of Hitler,” the leader of Essence of Time concluded.
