Ukrainian Nazis are attempting to strike Kherson liberated by Russian troops on Victory Day, RIA Novosti reported on May 9.
It is specified that five rockets aimed at the northern part of Kherson were shot down near the village of Chornobayevka. The sounds of explosions can be heard, and air defense is working.
On March 15, the entire Kherson region in southern Ukraine was taken under Russian control. Later, military-civil administrations began to be formed in the south of neighboring Zaporozhye region and in Kherson regions, and Russian television and radio broadcasts were launched. Russian rubles were also used for payments.
