Investigative Committee of Russia investigates murders of Kramatorsk residents by Ukrainian fighters

The chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Bastrykin has ordered to investigate in a criminal case the killing of civilians in Kramatorsk by Ukrainian militants for the purpose of seizing their property, the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported on April 19.

According to the press service, it was reported by residents that the nationalists stopped vehicles on the H-20 road, seized them, and shot the drivers and passengers in case of resistance. There were reports of 23 murders.

Bastrykin instructed to record the facts, collect evidence and identify the victims and those involved in the crimes.

On 17 April, Bastrykin instructed to study the materials of the International Public Tribunal for Ukraine. The tribunal on Ukraine was created at a conference of 20 countries and the Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights.
