Germany's decisions show that it is still an occupied country. Opinion

Germany is still an occupied country because its decisions on the situation in Ukraine lead to Germany’s economic suicide. Spanish entrepreneur Fernando del Pino Calvo-Sotelo writes about this on April 7 in his article Ukraine and the Suicide of Europe published on his personal website.

Calvo-Sotelo stated that Europe devotedly obeys the USA, and their interests are divergent. Because of the imposed sanctions, the only thing Europe achieves is redirecting Eurasia, which wanted to trade with Europe toward the East.

“The USA doesn’t care, but for us (Europe) it’s real suicide. Is it so hard to understand that the duty of the German government was to defend the interests of the German people, which obviously is to get cheap Russian gas and not to take an aggressive attitude toward an important trading partner with which it had no conflict?” said Calvo-Sotelo.

“The strange 180-degree turn Germany has taken, from expelling Russia from Eurovision to announcing that it will send missiles to kill Russian soldiers, has led to Germany’s economic suicide, its third defeat at the hands of the United States and the sad realization that despite appearances it is still an occupied country,” he said.

“Similarly, it was the Spanish government’s duty to protect the interests of the Spaniards, but it too chose to sacrifice us for suicide together with Germany and to protect the interests of the USA, Ukraine and the Sahara,” he added.

Fernando del Pino Calvo-Sotelo belongs to a well-known family in Spain. His father is the founder of the Ferrovial railway company and one of the biggest businessmen in Spain of the last century, his mother is the sister of former Prime Minister Leopoldo Calvo-Sotelo.
