06.04.2022, Mariupol.

The DPR People’s Militia published a video recording on April 5, in which the incident at the Drama Theater in Mariupol was discussed.

A surviving witness said that about 2,000 people were initially held in the theater. As the front line approached, a mine of about 80mm caliber hit the theater. Then, on March 16, there was an explosion, as a result of which a man “was thrown out together with bricks” and his sleeping son was pressed against the door. The victim suffered only minor injuries.

“And we didn’t find mom…,” the witness said.

According to him, some Ukrainian army fighters brought their families to the theater and then drove them out, which caused others to fear. They were not allowed outside and were told that it was dangerous there.

Then the Ukrainian army fighters left the building and started shelling it from outside, and then left.

Before the explosion, two Ukrainian fighters inspected and photographed the interior of the theater. The explosion itself, according to a witness, was staged.

On March 16, 2022, the Donetsk Academic Regional Drama Theater was destroyed by an explosion of the explosives planted there by the Ukrainian army soldiers.
