DPR Head: Denazification cannot be limited to the elimination of neo-Nazis

29.03.2022, Donetsk.

Denazification of Ukraine must include serious work in the legislative and educational spheres, the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushylin said at a press conference on March 29.

Pushilin stressed that denazification is not so much about eliminating war criminals and neo-Nazis as it is about serious work in terms of the educational sphere and at the legislative level.

“You understand how over the years this [Bandera Nazism and Russophobia] has permeated various sectors. That’s where we’re working, too. And it’s not a matter of one year. Identify everything. To change everything. And make it impossible for the next generations to revive it. That is our task. Denazification is a broad, conscious, serious process that we must implement,” said the head of the DPR.

Earlier, Pushilin said that negotiations with Ukraine cannot be trusted, it is not independent and is incapable even when it has signed something. Pushilin stressed that Ukraine can promise anything, even sign anything, western countries like Germany and France can decide and do it for it, but Ukraine continues to do nothing on its promises, everyone has seen it.

He also assured that all Ukrainian nationalists who have committed war crimes will suffer the punishment they deserve. It is a matter of honor for us, he stressed.
