In Europe, in addition to the usual political elite, a counter-elite exists, which may enter the game if a geopolitical catastrophe occurs, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on March 22 on The Great Game program on Channel One.
“Not only the elite exists, French or otherwise, but there is a counter-elite as well. And this counter-elite can emerge at certain point,” Sergey Kurginyan said.
The philosopher spoke about a conversation he had with an influential foreigner, who suggested in 2011 that they ought to discuss post-catastrophic relations between Russia and Europe.
According to the influential person from Europe, “all the smart people” are waiting a catastrophe, and this is why they stepped aside. “Where are these smart people from the counter-elite now?” the political scientist wondered.
The political elite in Europe is either in the anti-Russian camp, similarly to the French Charlemagne SS division, or in the pro-Russian camp, where there are very few of them.
“They do exist, but very few in number. And it is absolutely unclear how they will emerge from under the blocks, from under these huge pro-US masses,” the leader of Essence of Time added.
