LPR forces after liberating their land will continue the operation in Ukraine

22.03.2022, Lugansk.

LPR forces will continue to participate in the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine after the liberation of the republic, the head of the Lugansk People’s Republic Leonid Pasechnik said on March 22 on Channel One.

Asked whether LPR forces will continue to fight the nationalists after the liberation of the republic’s territory, Pasechnik said, “I think definitely (will). Because this is our land, these are our people, this is our Ukraine… Today the population of Ukraine is a hostage of that terrorist, nationalist, fascist regime that exists and rules in Kiev. And we must help our people.”

On February 24, Russia launched a military special operation in Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin described its goal as the protection of people who have been subjected to persecution, genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years. To achieve this goal, it is planned to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine.

In the course of hostilities, a humanitarian catastrophe is developing in the cities and villages of Ukraine. The Russian Defense Ministry blames the Kiev authorities, who do not coordinate the operation of humanitarian corridors, for this. Also to blame are local nationalists, who in a number of cases are holding civilians as human shields.
