Kurginyan: The West will keep Russia in its claws as long as it can do so

08.03.2022, Moscow.

The West is not interested in a peace treaty between the Kiev regime and Russia, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on March 6 on the air of The Great Game program on Channel One.

The US will continue to provoke the Kiev regime or what remains of it in the western part of Ukraine. The political scientist recalled that 50,000 soldiers are located in western Ukraine. We need to prepare for the fact that the settlement process will be dragged out, Sergey Kurginyan explained.

“It seems to me that they will crawl away and retreat there, under the “civilizational rift”. And try to arrange something like two Vietnams or two Koreas there for the long term,” the analyst explained.

He added that many actions of the Kiev regime are difficult to predict due to the insane behavior of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

“It is very difficult to predict the behavior of an insane person under the influence drugs and alcohol, and who is afraid of everyone around,” Sergey Kurginyan explained. However, he believes that the scenario of two Ukraines looks logical in the context of the current situation.

He also stressed that foreign influence is clearly visible on the territory of Ukraine. And one of the main questions is how much and what will be pumped into Ukraine.

“Tell me where is the line between retirees from the SAS and active operators. So last year these SAS officers had already been operating in Ukraine, crossing the contact line and working on your territory,” the political scientist said answering the question of Gorlovka’s mayor Ivan Prikhodko.

If this is all coming after the Russian soul, if this is all the borders of deterrence of the attack on Russia, then why would Russia, condemned by these scoundrels, suddenly be released from The West’s claws. It will release the country only when the West realize that it is too costly to keep Russia in its claws,” Sergey Kurginyan explained.

He noted that the task of long-suffering Donbass is to restrain all this and it has heroically been restraining the pressure of the Kiev regime, which has been enjoying support from the West during last eight years.

On February 17,  the Ukrainian side sharply aggravated the situation in Donbass by increasing the intensity of shelling of the DPR and LPR territory and stepping up the sabotage action and other provocations. Already on February 18, the leadership of the DPR and LPR announced the evacuation of their residents to Russia. On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. The Russian authorities stressed that they are not at war with the Ukrainian people and are not going to occupy Ukraine. The purpose of the operation is precisely the demilitarization and denazification of the country.
