Journalists of RIA Novosti as well as Zvezda and TVTs channels were shelled by Ukrainian MLRSs in Donbass, RIA Novosti reported on February 27.
According to a RIA Novosti reporter, there are no victims among media workers. It remains unknown whether it was aimed fire or accidental hit in the shelling area.
On February 27, the Spokesman of the People’s Militia of the DPR Eduard Barusin said that the DPR army is advancing its offensive against the Ukrainian army as planned towards the borders of Donetsk and Lugansk regions retaking their territories.
According to the Spokesman of the Russian Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov, the Lugansk army with Russian army’s fire support has advanced over 52 kilometers into the territory controlled by the Ukrainian army since the operation started.
On February 24, another car with journalists suffered from shelling in Donbass. According to witnesses, the Ukrainian army’s fire against the press workers was aimed, but there were no casualties.
