A Ukrainian delegation left for talks with Russia in the Belarusian city of Gomel on February 27, the National Press Center of Belarus wrote on its official Telegram channel.
“Just now President Zelensky callled President Lukashenko. President Lukashenko convinced President Zelensky to save Ukraine’s state sovereignty, and the Ukrainian delegation is now leaving for Gomel,” said social activist Yuri Voskresensky.
Voskresensky added that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko convinced the Ukrainian president to “prevent a tragedy” because everyone understands that “Russia will not give up on the goals of military operations.”
