Ukraine liberated from Bandera Nazis will definitely integrate into the united Slavic world, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on February 9 in an interview to the ONT Belarusian channel.
Kurginyan noted that a civilizational rift passes through Western Ukraine. He explained that an idea of civilizations exists, and Samuel Huntington discussed the clash of civilizations in the early 2000s.
The political scientist stressed that civilizations rely on mono-religious groups; therefore, it would seem that civilizations do not exist today. “But something exists. A sort of a civilizational rift passes somewhere in Western Ukraine,” Kurginyan said.
According to Kurginyan, certain civilizational split also exists in Belarus, although it is not as pronounced as in Ukraine. The Ukrainian version is “very intense.” The political scientist believes that the separation is between the Bandera minority and the rest of the population.
“Ukraine is a large colony of the Banderite minority. The rest of the population is enslaved and scared,” Kurginyan explained.
The political scientist added that Ukrainians are scared after people were burnt in Odessa, and they are a colony of this Banderite minority.
“Liberation from this minority, its defeat, is the way to Ukrainian freedom for Ukrainians. And a free Ukrainian, as President Lukashenko rightly noted, will definitely enter the united Slavic world, no doubt,” Kurginyan said.
He stressed that the key issue is how to liberate this Ukrainian majority. He believes that this liberation has to take place not by Russian military force, but in a different way.
On January 28, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko said that the Russians, the Belarusians, and the Ukrainians are related Slavic peoples, and that Ukraine will return “in the fold of the Slavic peoples.”
