Video of the clash between the DPR special forces and Ukrainian saboteurs was published by the Donetsk TV channel Oplot.TV on February 20 on YouTube.
The three-minute video shows the heat of hostilities, where the DPR troops with special equipment are involved. It is noted that two Donetsk special forces servicemen were wounded during the clash. In the video footage there is a moment of unidentified persons detention.
“The special forces of the Ministry of State Security of the Donetsk People’s Republic stopped the criminal activity of terrorist Kiev regime representatives,” the authors of the video explained.
Since recently there has been an aggravation of the situation at the contact line between the DPR and LPR forces and the enemy’s armed forces. According to the head of the DPR people’s militia, Kiev has begun to implement a plan to seize Donbass, having secured the Western support.
On February 18, the evacuation of civilians to the Rostov Region and other regions of Russia was announced in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. On February 19, general mobilization was announced in the republics. LPR and DPR men capable of holding weapons were urged to “stand up for the defense of their homeland.“
