China began a very serious dialogue with Russia when it realized that it had become the main enemy of the United States, philosopher, political analyst and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said in an interview with the Belarusian ONT TV channel on February 9.
This dialogue between Russia and China is an obligate result of the birth of a new center of power, said Sergey Kurginyan. China has realized that the era of “living in clover ” is over for it.
In the second half of the twentieth century there was a conflict between the USSR and China, the philosopher recalled. He explained that the USSR did a foolish thing under Khrushchev that resulted in poor relations with China, in part because the Chinese did not want to expose Stalin’s cult of personality.
The USA used this to start a friendship with China against the USSR.
“Then there was a situation in which capital decided that it would move the real productive forces there, because labor in China is cheap, the workers are neat, there are many of them, and they are cheap. China’s development began under Deng Xiaoping. Then China developed in such a way that it [the USA] was stunned,” the expert noted.
“And then it [the USA] declared that China is its main enemy. There is a closed US doctrine that is absolutely axiomatic: no country in the world may even come close to the level from which it can challenge the United States,” Kurginyan said.
“As soon as China approached this level and then crossed it, it became the number one enemy,” the political scientist explained. According to him, Washington tried to probe the possibility of a war between Russia and China for preferential treatment from the United States, but the USA was rebuffed.
“First of all, the Russians are not insane. Second, they have absolutely no trust in the Americans. Therefore, a new game on the principle of ‘coalition against China’ is impossible,” the expert stressed.
Kurginyan added that the United States does not want to replay the results of the Cold War with Soviet Russia, does not want to recognize zones of influence, and therefore treats the Russian political elite as a loser and weak state, offering to start a war with China just for money.
“Naturally, all this turned out to be rejected. Then it [the USA] started this hysteria, which means their preemptive actions in Ukraine,” the political scientist commented on the results of such probing.
“Now China has realized that the era of ‘living in clover’ is over, that it is now the enemy, it needs to unite with someone,” Kurginyan pointed out. According to him, China has looked around and realized that it cannot stand alone against the United States, and that relations with India are very tense.
“A very serious dialogue with Russia has arisen here. It seems to me that this dialogue is quite serious,” the expert stressed. He added that although there are groups in China that are set on a deep alliance with the United States, the Americans themselves do not want such a relationship with China, because China could irreversibly gain the leading position.
“China has turned out to be the enemy. It is declared to be the enemy: ‘democracy versus authoritarianism!’ It is at the center of it all, and action is unfolding against it. It naturally turns to Russia. He removes this principle of self-sufficiency,” explained the political scientist. China has looked around and seen that hostile forces are gathering against it, Kurginyan concluded.
