Ukrainian army violates the ceasefire in the LPR four times

The Ukrainian army’s units violated the ceasefire on the front line in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) four times over the past 24 hours, an LPR representative to the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCCC) said, the REGNUM news agency informed on July 18.

According to the LPR representative, during July 17, 2021, Ukrainian military opened fire on Pervomaysk, Zolotoye-5 and Kalinovo villages. The Ukrainian army used anti-tank missile system, various types of grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.

JCCCC observers reported that 34 rounds of ammunition of various calibers larger than 12.7mm hit the territory of the republic.

The representative stressed that there were no casualties among residents and LPR People’s Militia servicemen. The infrastructure of the villages and residential houses were not damaged by the actions of the Ukrainian army.

On July 16, JCCCC observers reported two ceasefire violations by the Ukrainian army. The Ukrainian military opened fire from grenade launchers and large-calibre machine guns on Zhelobok and Molodezhnoye villages.
