Almost all the governments in the world, including such different countries as China and the United States, have responded to the threat of coronavirus very strangely, notes political scientist Sergey Kurginyan in his article “On what is on the horizon” published on July 8 in the Essence of Time newspaper.
The analyst reminded that earlier scammers have already tried to pull off a fraud with the introduction of universal vaccinations against bird and swine flu.
“Someone will tell me that it is impossible so to cheat all the governments of the Earth simultaneously, including, for example, the People’s Republic of China’s government, all special services, and the entire scientific community.
My answer is that too many things are sold and bought in the contemporary world, and all without care about moral factors. And too many people show compliance in front of even minimal pressure”, explained Kurginyan.
The political scientist noted that former US President Donald Trump tried not to respond to the panic, and this was used by his opponents during the course of the election campaign. China, becoming hostage of the clan struggle, the situation of world markets, and its own public opinion, behaved itself like Western countries.
According to Kurginyan, the situation in the world has developed in such a way that the governments of all countries are forced to respond to the overblown global panic in a certain way. If a reaction by the government is absent, it would, at least be suspected of causing the created situation.
“You start to compete how decisively you confront the overblown threat. It is easier to demonstrate that you confront it best of all; and therefore, you are a world leader. Why would you want to be on the sidelines? You will wait for it to end, but for now you will reap the possible rewards, instead of groaning and gasping over how super-scammers are cheating humanity by committing a super-fraud”, noted Kurginyan.
