The Great Britain controls an iron ring of hostile states closing around Russia, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on June 4 on the Topic program of the Union TV channel.
He said that the countries that surround Russia and demonstrate hostile behavior do not need confrontation with Moscow on their own, but the United Kingdom, which controls them, does.
The leader of the Essence of Time movement recalled that it is Britain that openly calls Russia the No. 1 enemy. “Who is pushing the US to aggravate relations with Russia? Of course, Britain,” Kurginyan said. He noted that Britain is in charge in Ukraine, as well.
The political scientist recalled London’s promise to double its number of warheads as Moscow becomes its enemy. “But this is ridiculous! It’s still not a potential,” Kurginyan assessed this statement.
“Of course, it’s an appendage to America. But you know, it’s a tail that can wag the dog,” he described Britain’s position.
Kurginyan stated that London “is such a loyal ally that is capable of managing the behavior of whoever it is associated with. And it can exert control, and has been doing so for a very long time.“
In his speech, the political scientist noted that states that previously held neutrality are becoming hostile all along Russia’s perimeter. The situation leaves little chance that a meeting between Russian and US leaders will lead to a détente, he says.
