Kurginyan: Poland “yapped” at Russia with US approval

02.06.2021, Moscow.

Poland seeks leadership in consolidating the anti-Russian forces in Europe when its President Andrzej Duda, with US approval, speaks about Russia’s “abnormality,” political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on May 27 on the Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on the Russia One channel.

“Does anyone believe that the Poles can yap, or open their mouth and say ‘mommy,’ without US approval?” Kurginyan commented the words of the Polish leader that Russia “is not a normal state.”

The political scientist indicated that the insulting statement about Russia came from the president of a major European country, a member of the EU and NATO, who is “quite appropriate in certain basic characteristics and absolutely aware of what would follow after his words.” If Russia is an “abnormal” country, this questions its membership in the UN Security Council, Kurginyan believes. Poland in this case can be the voice of the forces that dream about denying Russia this status, “He [Duda] is not a decision-maker, but someone has to say it.”

The expert stressed that the Polish leader made this insulting statement about Russia before the meeting between the US President Joe Biden and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. This summit is important to the US, and this is why, according to the political scientist, Washington said that sanctions against the Nord Stream 2 would be counter-productive, and it “behaves decently towards Belarus.”

Meanwhile, Kurginyan noted, “US’ main satellite steps out and starts insulting Russia using abusive language. Does this have nothing to do with the coming summit? Is this something apart of it? This cannot be apart of it… There cannot be any accidental factors.”

According to the analyst, this means “a rhetorical declaration of one option: ‘I, Poland, will be the leader in consolidating certain anti-Russian forces and putting this anti-Russian machine into operation.’”

The leader of Essence of Time reminded that the US “continues to look into the issue” of a separate anti-Russian bloc of Eastern European countries, which would also include Turkey.

“A very interesting military situation appears, which makes the third layer under economy underlying rhetoric,” Sergey Kurginyan concluded.

On May 26, the Polish leader Andrzej Duda during his official visit to Georgia said, “Russia is not a normal country; it is not a country that behaves normally; it is an aggressor state.”
