Kurginyan explains what can save Armenia and Karabakh

18.11.2020, Moscow.

Armenia needs an ultimately pro-Russian political leader, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on November 12 on the air of the Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on the Russia One channel.

The political scientist believes that the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, having surrendered Karabakh and refused, like a coward, to talk to the people to explain the situation, is politically dead. According to the expert, this “jewel in someone’s crown,” i.e. Pashinyan as an Armenian politician, now cannot be saved.

“I do not really understand why he should be saved. Armenia needs an ultimately pro-Russian president with some administrative experience and some will, who will not surrender Karabakh. Such a figure is known, I will not mention him to avoid any escalation,” Kurginyan said.

Also, the expert noted that the future Armenian leader has to have perfectly good relations with the Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Now all these parameters are already clear. Vladimir Putin is not a person who builds new relations quickly. Therefore, if Armenia wants to do something in this direction, the way is open,” the political scientist concluded.
