Russian people supported the Bolsheviks not by voting, but by fighting in the Russian Civil War, philosopher Timofey Sergeytsev said on November 9 on the air of the Vesti FM radio broadcast.

According to the philosopher, the people’s support was expressed not through voting, but in the Russian Civil War and “what part of the Officer Corps took the side of the Bolsheviks.” “We can immediately say that it was large, and the part of the officers was much larger,” he said.

The expert stressed that in the end, the peasants took the side of the Bolsheviks, who started to express their will.

On November 9, philosopher Timofey Sergeytsev said that the Bolsheviks and Vladimir Lenin had nothing to do with the overthrow of the Tsar. In his opinion, Nicholas II was overthrown by his entourage, including the military elite, part of the intelligentsia and nobility, as well as officials and the bourgeoisie.
