Ukrainian military servicemen, who were detained in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), were planning an act of sabotage against OSCE officials, the head of the press service of the Republic’s People’s Militia Daniil Beznosov said on May 23, Donetsk News Agency reports.

According to Beznosov, the saboteurs made a confession, and all of them were identified. They admitted planning a number of acts of sabotage in the DPR. One of the operations was planned against officials of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission.

This is not the first time that plans by the Ukrainian military to attack OSCE officials are confirmed. In February 2019, the Ukrainian army planted mines on the approaches to the DPR contact line before OSCE officials started moving along this route.
