For the last 24 hours the Ukrainian army violated the Donbass ceasefire eight times, reports RIA Novosti citing a Donetsk People’s Republic’s (DPR) representative in the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination on June 24.
“For the last 24 hours the total number of violations on the Ukrainian part has been eight times”, a DPR representative informed. He specified that the Ukrainian part has launched 25 mortar and artillery shells. Besides, the Ukrainian military fired using grenade launchers, the weapons of infantry fighting vehicle and small arms.
“Yesterday as a result of the Ukrainian army’s shelling a woman living in Dokhuchaevk was injured. According to the preliminary information, 4 houses are damaged. The total amount of ammunition used by the Ukrainian army is 171 units”, added the Republic’s representative. The new truce in Donbass came into effect on March 5, 2018. That is the 18th attempt to cease fire on the contact line.
