96 unidentified bodies were found in a mass grave in Al Hadiqah al Bayda’ district in the Syrian city of Raqqa, a Rossa Primavera News Agency source in Syria informed on June 21, 2018. The discovered remains were buried during the time when the city was under control of ISIL (organization banned in Russia – Rossa Primavera News Agency).

According to foreign experts, more than 1,000 civilians of 45 thousand residents of Raqqa who remained in the city by the beginning of the US blockade got killed during the assault. However, it is not possible to estimate the actual number of victims.

Amnesty International submitted a report according to which the US coalition deliberately destroyed sources of drinking water during the siege of Raqqa. US allies, the fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), were exposed as looters after the liberation of the city.
