Ukrainian army opens fire on LPR twice over the last 24 hours

Ukrainian militants violated the regime of silence two times over the last 24 hours on the border with the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), the LPR People’s Militia press service informs on June 10. Grenade launchers, small arms including large-calibre armament and infantry fighting vehicles guns were fired.

The positions of the Republican army near the villages of Kalinovo and Lozovoe came under fire. The attack did not result in any victims.

After the reconfiguration of the so-called “Anti-terrorist operation” into “Operation of joined forces”, shelling became more frequent, and the number of civil victims started to increase. In particular, on June 7 a share taxi came under fire in the LPR, leaving 6 civilians being injured.
