The Ukrainian army is placing a demolition belt near Donbass towns and villages, the spokesman of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic Andrey Marochko said on May 29 at a meeting with journalists, Interfax-AVN reports.

“The Ukrainian army continues to place a demolition belt near the towns and villages where Ukrainian army units are located. Currently, for example, units of the 14th Independent Motorized Infantry Brigade are doing this near the Katerinovka settlement, endangering the health and safety of the settlement residents,” A. Marochko told the journalists.

He noted that the situation at the contact line in Donbass remains tense. In the last 24 hours, the Ukrainian army launched shelling six times near the settlements of Golubovskoye, Zhelobsk, Prishib, and Lozovoye, firing 95 various munitions.

Recently, the Ukrainian army has dramatically intensified its activity along the entire contact line. Every day, the Ukrainian army shells Donbass towns and villages. For example, on May 28 Dokuchaevsk was shelled.
