LPR Militia: Ukrainian Armed Forces violates ceasefire 10 times in the past 24 hours

On September 15, the Ukrainian armed forces violated the “silence regime” more than 10 times in the past 24 hours on the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), Lugansk Information Center stated on its website.

The Ukrainian army used 120- and 82-mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers (AGSs), anti-tank guns (SPGs), rocket-propelled grenade launchers (RPGs), infantry fighting vehicles, and small arms. No destruction of buildings and casualties among servicemen and civilians have been reported yet. In total, 110 shells were fired on the territory of the Republic.

On August 23, Martin Sajdik, a Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office to the Trilateral Contact Group, announced a resolution of the Minsk Contact Group, which declared the introduction of an indefinite ceasefire in Donbass from August 25, 2017.  The OSCE Special Representative added that conflicting parties should ensure reliable and safe access for mission’s observers.

As Rossa Primavera News Agency had already reported, according to the information of LPR’s Militia, on September 10 the Ukrainian armed forces opened fire 12 times  on the territory of the Republic.
