The Ukrainian army opened fire on the areas of the “Mayorsk” checkpoint and the village of Zaytsevo using tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, mortars, and small arms.
On the Donetsk part of the front, the Ukrainian troops shelled the area of the “Yasinovataya” checkpoint, of Spartak, and of the former Donetsk airport using mortars. The enemy also used the small arms.
On August 27, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 24 times. 14 towns and villages of the Donetsk People’s Republic came under enemy’s fire. The outbuildings on the territory of the children camp in Yasinovataya were damaged by the night shelling.
