All of the delegations, including Syrian armed opposition, will take part in the Syrian talks plenary session in Astana, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs press secretary Anuar Zhaynakov informed, RT news agency reports.

“All of the talks participants are expected to take part”, the official told to the press. Zhaynakov stressed that representatives of the observer states will also participate in the session.

Earlier Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that delegations of all the interested parties arrived in Astana in order to conduct talks.

A new phase of Syrian armed conflict settlement process started in Astana on July 4. Delegations from Russia, Turkey, Iran, USA, UN, elected Syrian government, and spokesmen of the extremist groups, which aim at overthrowing Bashar Asad government, participated in the talks at different stages. It should be noted that for the first time in the history of the armed confrontation the talks in Astana gathered representatives of both elected Syrian authorities and the extremists fighting them.
