During July 2, the Ukrainian army was provoking combat on all main parts of the front. The enemy utilized artillery and mortars. The Ukrainian tanks and infantry fighting vehicles were highly active on the Gorlovka direction, in the area of Zaytsevo and on the Yasinovataya part of the front, in the area of Avdeevka industrial zone. The situation remains tense near Dokuchaevsk and on the southern direction.
Kiev militants continue to redeploy the heavy weaponry banned by the Minsk Agreements to the contact line. The Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) intelligence informed on a large number of the heavy military equipment and artillery units on the Donetsk direction. One battery of the Gvozdika self-propelled artillery vehicles was uncovered near the village of Berdychi. One battery of the Akatsiya self-propelled artillery vehicles was noted near the village of Iliinka. One battery of the D-30 howitzers and one infantry company were uncovered near the village of Stepnoye.
On July 1, the Ukrainian side violated the ceasefire 35 times. 10 towns and villages of the DPR came under the Ukrainian army’s shelling. One house in Gorlovka, 7 houses in Aleksandrovka, one house in Dokuchaevsk, one house in Sakhanka, and one house in Leninskoye were damaged.
