Ukrainian army sharply intensified the shelling and attacked the positions of Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) at two parts of the front, a source in the DPR PM informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on February 24th. Ukrainian military is shelling Makeevka, Yasinovataya, the villages of Vasilevka, Yakovlevka, Spartak, and Zhabichevo, as well as the northern suburbs of Donetsk. In the village of the Petrovsky district of the capital, electric power was lost as a result of the shelling.
