During the past day, the Ukrainian army shelled a number of towns and villages of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and Donetsk water filtration plant, a source in the DPR People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on February 15th.
Northern and western suburbs of Gorlovka remain under the artillery fire of the Ukrainian army. The village of Zaytsevo again came under the enemy’s fire.
On the Donetsk direction, Ukrainian military shelled the northern suburbs of the Kievsky and Kuybychevsky districts of the city. Trench combat is underway in Avdeevka industrial zone, in the area of “Volvo-center” and of the village of Spartak. The Ukrainian army again shelled Donetsk water filtration plant today. The shells exploded near the storage facilities of chloride. Plant employees were evacuated.
In the evening, the Ukrainian army has significantly intensified the shelling of the northern suburbs of Donetsk. The enemy is using heavy artillery. As of 10.30 PM by Moscow time, the sound of powerful explosions are heard from the direction of the former Donetsk airport and Avdeevka industrial zone.
On the Mariupol direction, the villages of Oktyabr and Sakhanka came under the Ukrainian military’s attack by mortars and small arms.
During the past day, DPR PM intelligence registered the arrival of a battery of 120mm mortars in the area of Novgorodskoye controlled by the Ukrainian army. Furthermore, there is information on the arrival of a battery of 152mm “Giatsint-B” howitzers in the village of Kurakhovka. DPR PM intelligence also uncovered the location of a battery of “Grad” multiple launch rocket system in Novoukrainka, and a battery of “Gvozdika” self-propelled artillery and an infantry platoon of the Ukrainian army near Krasnogorovka. These data confirm that the Ukrainian side grossly violates the Minsk Agreement.
According to updated information, during the past day, February 14th, the Ukrainian army shelled the front-line territories of the Republic 550 times. Ukrainian military fired 68 152mm and 122mm artillery shells, 163 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds.
