Despite the arrival of Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug, the situation on the front seriously escalated today.
According to the reports from Gorlovka city, the Ukrainian side shelled Zaytsevo village using mortars, rocket-propelled grenade launchers, and recoilless anti-tank guns. The situation remains tense on the northern and western borders of the city.
The Ukrainian army was active on the Donetsk direction. The trench combats were underway near former Donetsk airport, the industrial area of Avdeevka town, and “Volvo-centre”. The heavy artillery, tank artillery, and heavy machine guns were actively used.
