The situation is tense on all parts of the front. The situation is boiling on the Mariupol direction, where the Ukrainian army is increasing its activity.
The outskirts of Gorlovka still remain a target of Ukrainian artillery’s shells. A direct hit destroyed a house on Obrucheva street in Zaytsevo village. Reports of shelling also arrived from Zheleznaya Balka village.
Donetsk direction remains tense. Petrovsky district of Donetsk is shelled by Armed Forces of Ukraine again. One civilians was killed by Ukrainian artillery in Aleksandrovka village. Two houses on Letchikov and Dzalilia streets were damaged. 29 electrical substations lost access to power supply in Trudovskie village. Spartak village and the territory of the airport are shelled in the northern outskirts of Donetsk. Trench combat keeps erupting in the area of Avdeevka industrial zone.
Yesterday Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to breach the lines of defense of DPR People’s Militia on the part of the front between Kominternovo and Leninskoye villages in the south of the Republic. Being covered by dense artillery fire, several groups of 30 men each attempted to flank and capture our positions from different directions. Presumably the backbone of the attackers was comprised of mercenaries from Poland and Georgia. As a result of confident actions of DPR People’s Militia units, the enemy retreated, having lost more than 15 men killed and 25 injured. Unfortunately, lives of servicemen of the Republic were also lost. Two soldiers were killed, five were injured.
The enemy also shelled Oktyabr, Leninskoye, Kominternovo and Sakhanka villages by 120mm and 82mm mortars, 122mm guns, as well as heavy 152mm artillery. The situation on the Mariupol direction is rapidly heating up.
According to DPR recon, the enemy enlarges the southern group of its army, deploying units of Nazi “Azov” regiment and foreign mercenaries to the area of Kominternovo village.
The positions of 14 units of enemy’s vehicles, including tanks and self-propelled artillery guns, were discovered 6 km away from the frontline near Donetsk. Deployment of two tanks, three infantry fighting vehicles and trucks with ammunition of Ukrainian army was spotted in the area of Novoselovka village in the south.
According to updated information, on October 11 Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 333 times. According to DPR Operations Command, one serviceman was injured.
