The situation on the frontline remains to be extremely tense. The Ukrainian side once again disrupted the separation of sides in the area of Petrovskoye village.
At midnight Ukrainian army started to shell Yasinovataya by artillery guns, mortars and grenade launchers, small arms were fired as well. 35 shells were fired at the residential areas. Nine houses on Transportnaya and Krasnogo Oktyabrya streets, several cars in the yards and a gas pipe were damaged. One of the shells hit an apartment building 11 in microdistrict 3. The residents of the apartment hit by the shell survived thanks to the fact that their bedroom was in the room furthest from the frontline.
The second attempt of separating the sides in the area of Petrovskoye village failed. At 15:15 units of DPR People’s Militia finished the withdrawal to new positions in the area of the village. However, at approximately 16:00 Ukrainian army started to shell Viktorovka village in the neutral zone by automatic grenade launchers. After this the decision to return DPR units to their previous positions was made. JCCC and OSCE Mission monitors registered the fact that Ukraine disrupted the earlier reached agreements on separation of sides.
According to latest information, on October 2 Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 90 times.
