‘Center for Development of Donbass’ delivers free medicine for 1,000 residents of Gorlovka

Humanitarian mission “Center for Development of Donbass” (CDD), together with Gorlovka city authorities, supplied one thousand residents of the city, including pregnant women, with free medicine, the press-service of the organization informed Donetsk News Agency today.

‘Center for Development of Donbass’ and local authorities of Gorlovka realized the project of handing out medicine for children under five years old, pregnant and breastfeeding women when there were medical reasons and with the decision of their doctors. The project was realized in a month. 1000 people received the aid,” press-service stated.

Currently negotiations are underway in regards of continuing this project, and we count on that such support will be provided to people,” press-service quoted the Chairwoman of CDD Anastasiya Khmelnitskaya.

It was earlier reported that CDD supplied 1400 elderly residents of Donetsk and Makeevka with medical equipment, hygiene kits, underwear.

CDD was founded in September 2015 and certified in Donetsk People’s Republic as a humanitarian mission. The volunteers of the organization deliver humanitarian aid to hospitals and schools, educate residents through courses, participate in developing projects of repairing the infrastructure of Donbass damaged by shellings.
