Last night the Ukrainian military was shelling Aleksandrovka township of Petrovsky district in the west of Donetsk for two and a half hours, one house is destroyed, according to the Head of Petrovsky district administration Maksim Zhukovsky, Donetsk News Agency reports today.
“Yesterday, the house No. 9 on Lenin street in Aleksandravka township was destroyed by the shelling of the Ukrainian army. The shelling continued from around 6 PM till half past 8 PM,” the Head of the administration said to the Agency.
According to Zhukovsky, no people were wounded and injured. The Ukrainian army opened fire by mortars, automatic grenade launchers, and small arms.
At night, April 19th, the Ukrainian military shelled the outskirts of Donetsk and Gorlovka using tank artillery and heavy mortars. Spartak, Veseloe, Trudovskie, Elenovka villages, the area of the coal mine “Abakumov” near Donetsk as well as Zaytsevo village, Shirokaya Balka, and Ozeryanovka townships were under the Ukrainian army’s fire. Two dozens of tank shells, 20 120mm, and 131 82mm mortar shells were fired.
