Over the past day, Kiev junta’s punitive forces shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) territories 59 times, a spokesman of DPR Ministry of Defense said in response to questions of Donetsk News Agency reporter on February 25th.
Ukrainian army violated ceasefire obligations 33 times by shelling the front-line territories of the Republic, the spokesman of DPR Ministry of Defense said.
The enemy used 82mm and 120 mm mortars 43 times during the shelling. Also, recoilless anti-tank guns and small arms were used.
The punitive forces shelled Zaitsevo, Zhabichevo, Spartak villages, the Donetsk airport area and area of “Volvo-Center”, the northern outskirts of Gorlovka and Donetsk from their positions in Peski, Zhovanka, Opytnoe, Novotroitskoe, Maryinka townships and in ventilation shaft of Butovskaya mine, according to the information of DPR Ministry of Defense.
On February 23rd, Kiev junta’s punitive forces fired 148 shells on DPR territory using 122mm and 152mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars, the weapons of infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) and anti-tank guns and small arms.
