Nationalist battalion militants shelled northern Donetsk outskirt by 82 and 120mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers and small arms from the direction of Peski village.
“The first shelling by Ukrainian military started around 20:20. Former Donetsk airport territory came under fire. Approximately at the same time the shells started falling on Spartak and Zhabichevo villages near Donetsk, as well as “Volvo-Center” area in Kuybyshevsky district of Donetsk,” a source in Donetsk People’s Republic Defense Ministry said.
