Ukrainian Parliament agreed on arresting the “Radical Party” member MP Igor Mosyichuk.

Earlier the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin stated that there is evidence of Mosyichuk committing grave crimes. “I ask to immediately allow the prosecution, detaining and arrest of People’s MP Mosyichuk. I bring the case to you for approval immediately, so that Mosyichuk would not escape,” Shokin stated in the Parliament.

The decision was approved by 262 MPs, with a required minimum of 226 votes.

Parliament speaker Vladimir Groysman has stated after the voting that he is shocked with the evidence shown on the video tape presented by the prosecutor’s office. He addressed the staff of the Parliament and asked to prepare the case in order to sign it immediately.
