08.09.2015, Moscow.

The key figures of right-wing radical nationalist movements of “maidan” fought in conflicts in Transdniestria, Nagorno-Karabakh, South Ossetia and other war-zones, according to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. Chairman of The Investigative Committee of the Prosecutor General’s Office Alexander Bastrykin has stated:

Fighting there, they mastered both conventional and ideological warfare that they would rely on in destabilization of political landscape in Ukraine. Case files contain an interview with Aleksandr Muzychko aka Sashko-Bily, one of the leader of UNA-UNSO (Ukrainian National Assembly – Ukrainian People’s Self-Defence) radical nationalist movement. He gave the interview in early 90’s in Chechnya. He said: “If we live through this war (meaning hostilities in the Chechen Republic), we won’t have anything to fear…, we will come and bring about order in Ukraine”. Exactly as it turned out to be, they came and brought “order” which has claimed thousands of lives already.

The leader of far-right organization “Right Sector” Dmitry Yarosh, as well as the former Verkhovnaya Rada (Ukrainian Parliament – ed.) MP, Presidential elections candidate Oleg Tyagnibok – “all of them are being charged with participating in crimes against the Russian Military and the Internal Troops of the Russian Ministry for Internal Affairs during the counter-terrorist operation which took place in the Chechen Republic in 1994-1995.

A decision has been made to issue an international arrest warrant against them in order to take these people into custody. The investigation has also showed that Arseny Yatsenyuk (current Prime-Minister of Ukraine – ed.) has fought in the punitive “Argo” unit, later in the “Viking” unit lead by Aleksandr Muzychko, against the Russian military servicemen together with these people.

Arseny Yatsenyuk, in turn, participated in at least two armed clashes in Grozny.

According to the information we possess, Arseny Yatsenyuk, among other active UNA-UNSO members was awarded the highest award of Dzhokhar Dudaev “Honor of Nation” in December 1995 for murdering Russian servicemen. The interrogated Yatsenyuk’s companions describe him as an educated, smart, but at the same time cunning and dodgy person who is striving to power and publicity since childhood. Arseny Yatsenyuk has returned to Ukraine through Georgia together with a group of journalists. He was later spotted numerous times on UNA-UNSO conventions and other events in Kiev.
