As of August 16 the commanders of the Ukrainian army have gathered three strike groups by the contact line for the offensive, according to DPR Deputy Defense Minister Eduard Basurin.
The group of enemy’s forces in “C” sector consists of up to 22 battalions. It includes up to 130 tanks, up to 950 units of fighting armored vehicles, up to 290 field artillery guns and mortars, up to 35 units of multiple rocket launch systems.
According to him, the group of enemy’s forces in “B” sector” consists of up to 26 battalions.
It includes up to 230 tanks, 830 units of fighting armored vehicles, up to 360 field artillery guns and mortars, up to 75 units of multiple rocket launch systems.
The group of enemy’s forces in “M” sector consists of up to 20 battalions. It includes up to 75 tanks, 545 units of fighting armored vehicles, up to 180 field artillery guns and mortars, up to 22 units of multiple rocket launch systems.
Extensive building-up of weaponry of over 100 mm caliber on the contact line by the Ukrainian military was observed during the day, which is a violation of the Minsk agreements, which the Ukrainian side itself had signed.
According to the Deputy Defense Minister, concentration of such a number of military hardware banned by the Minsk agreements directly testifies that Kiev is preparing for a new stage of a large-scale combat.
We appeal to the world community to immediately take measures in order to prevent the inhumane and criminal intentional of Pyotr Poroshenko of launching a new round of combat and genocide in Eastern Europe from happening. The fire of a new war in Europe can still be prevented.
