US’ main adversary is not China, but Europe whose overall economic power can challenge US hegemony, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on April 5 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
Kurginyan reminded about Andropov’s plan to unite Russia and Europe, for the sake of which a catastrophe named “collapse of the Soviet Union” was arranged. This would make it possible to use the productive forces of the EU while questioning the need for US occupation of West Germany.
“I remind you that everything I am saying here has been declared at various stages by the current leader of the Russian Federation President Putin, who has talked about this repeatedly and publicly,” the political scientist noted.
At the same time, conversations with “various people who have an understanding of real processes” suggest that such a plan of uniting Europe and Russia is absolutely unacceptable for the USA, the expert said.
“Classified US doctrines reiterate the statement that US’ main adversary is any country or actor that can challenge US hegemony,” Kurginyan explained.
Ideology of the adversary country makes absolutely no difference for the US despite its statements about the confrontation between “democracies” and “authoritarian regimes,” the leader of Essence of Time stressed.
“Be it fascism, or communism, or democracy, or liberalism – all they want is to prevent the formation of an actor capable of challenging their hegemony. And the actor number one is Europe,” the expert explained.
Besides, the US elites have other motives to hate Europe. In addition to a dosed hatred to Europe in the US Democratic party as well as the historical memory of UK hegemony “in certain strata of the elite,” there is irrational hatred by the Republicans.
“The Republicans hate nothing as much as Europe. Nothing on Earth! Not even China. Europe is something they really hate,” the political scientist said. “This is a religious hatred; they believe that the first president of Europe will become the Antichrist.”
