The Ukrainian military shelled southern Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), a DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCCC) informed on December 28.
“There is information that the Ukrainian military opened fire on the direction of Vodyanoye and Novaya Tavria,” the DPR representative at the JCCCC said.
According to the DPR representative, 10 120mm mortar shells were fired.
Since July 2020, a package of additional measures to strengthen the ceasefire in the Donbass came in force. These measures include a ban on firing, the deployment of weapons towns and villages, undertaking of offensive and reconnaissance and sabotage activities.
