The Chinese leadership has the ability to quarantine its population, and it can do so with its support. Political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement stated this on July 11 in “The Meaning of the Game” broadcast published on the movement’s YouTube channel.
“The Chinese elite has never worried about making ordinary Chinese people less free. This unfreedom is in some sense recorded in their cultural code and is related, among other things, to the cyclicity that lies at the foundation of Chinese metaphysics, the entire Chinese culture,” the political scientist explained.
Kurginyan added, “The Chinese leadership has the ability to lock its population into any quarantine. And it can do this easily and with the support of their population. And this makes it different from our leadership.”
According to the Essence of Time movement’s leader, China is determined to fit into globalization and win the prize of globalization. At the same time, the country is not protesting against the globalization trend. It plays by the rules of this trend in everything – “digitalization, vaccination, quarantine, freedom of world trade, freedom of movement, and so on.”
What exactly China will do when it wins in the framework of this global trend, and whether it can win within this imposed framework, is a “separate issue” for Sergey Kurginyan.
